This sense of purpose has shaped my ability to build and grow successful organisations. I apply the insights and knowledge accumulated throughout my career (as a CEO and a Board Director), working in public, private and not-for-profit organisations, to realising strategic objectives in ways that deliver results and create value for the business, its people and the wider community.
I have successfully led people and teams through transformational change, with a focus on values, culture and performance. And, I’ve brought people and organisations together, often in complex and contested environments, to effectively collaborate and realise solutions to ‘wicked problems’.
I am seen as a credible and authoritative leader experienced in managing effectively in challenging situations, whilst under intense scrutiny from regulators, media, politicians and the public. These experiences have taught me the benefit of being a pro-active enquirer into what is possible - rather than an unyielding advocate for a fixed point of view.
